Krafton has confirmed the rollout of the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) 3.9 update today, introducing a new Transformers-themed gameplay mode and expanding content across multiple popular in-game formats.
According to official social media posts from BGMI, players can expect a faceoff featuring Optimus Prime and Megatron, forming the highlight of the fresh battleground scenario. The update introduces several modifications and feature improvements to existing game types including Metro Royale and Ranked Arena.
The 3.9 version update follows the game’s standard release cycle and is being deployed through Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Players are advised to search for "BGMI" in the store, select the app, and tap the "Update" button to install the latest version on Android or iOS devices. Relaunching the app completes the installation process.
For those opting for manual installation, Krafton has also made the APK and OBB files accessible via BGMI’s official Telegram channel. Users should download the files from this verified source, enable installation from unknown sources in their device settings, install the APK, and place the OBB file in Android > obb > com.pubg.imobile.
